What is a Bead Store?

Bead stores are unique specialized retail stores that offer a wide range of materials, tools, and sometimes even workshops to help create your own jewelry and other craft projects. These are local mom and pop shop each with their own unique materials they specialize in ranging from vintage Vinitian trade beads, gestones and even 3D printed beads!

Here at String Bead, we carry hand picked materials from all over the world including gemstones, pearls, wood, metals, and glass beads! Our extensive glass collection includes everything from the humble seed bead hand made in the Czech Republic to upcycled beach glass sand cast in Guana. But we are more than just a bead store, we of course have all the tools, cordage, pliers, wires, part, components, and all the raw materials to fabricate your own jewelry from scratch! Beyond that, String Bead is special in that we offer workshops for all ages and skill levels. So wheather you are picking up your first bead and not sure what to string it on or looking to start torching some metal, we have something for everyone!
