Start your jewelry journey in the world of metal working! Learn all the essential skills to turn raw metal into designed jewelry by you. Put your new found skill in practice with our fabrication studio available by monthly memberships! Most courses here are about 2-3 hours long and typically include materials (unless otherwise stated). Due to the nature of these courses, we ask students to wear closed toed shoes, shop appropriate clothes, and to keep any long hair tied back. These workshops are designed for ages 12 and up and require a parent/legal guardian to sign a safety acknowledgment for minors.

An introduction to hard soldering with a torch! This course is great for beginners or those who need to brush up on the torch skills. Learn the terms & tools of the trade while fabricating several rings in copper, brass, bronze, and sterling silver.

One of the most essential smithing skills that can also be the most frustrating is saw work! Practice learning to tension your blade, cut corners, and do pierce work!

Claw Prong

Take the next step in metal work and learn to work with different levels of solder to build a frame. It is recommended that students have taken a recent soldering class or have prior experience with a torch.

Fidget Spinner Ring

This course will cover multiple techniques from rolling textures, squaring off sheet metal and using doming blocks. Prior experience with a torch is required as we will be working in sterling silver.

Set Stones in Silver!

Enameling 101!

Glass is a wonderful medium that comes in so many forms. Powdered glass, known as vitreous enamel, can be fused to copper using a torch or kiln. Explore the many different colors, effects and techniques to start your next jewelry obsession.

It means “letting in daylight” in French! Pictures don’t do it justice as this technique gives you a stained glass look in copper. Learn how to prepare your enamels for this style and work with kiln firing. Recommended to take the enamel 101 course prior.

Derived from the French word Cloison meaning cell! Learn how to build your own cells, fill, and fire to give a beautifully frame artwork. Work in a combination of copper and fine silver to create your cells. Recommended to take enamels 101 prior.
